Quiet moments with Lily are rare. She is full of energy, ideas, spark and general intensity. Yesterday, while Drew and Julianna were napping at the same time (for a whole TEN MINUTES), Lily and I got a moment of peace together. It was lovely and I soaked every ounce of sweetness I could out of her for that minute or two.
This morning, around one, Lily was up and ready to go for the day. We sent her back to bed....she didn't go. I came upstairs to find ALL the lights on. She was on the couch with a bottle of hairspray, the box of hair ties, and a comb. She said that she had some bad tangles that she needed to take care of RIGHT NOW. I escorted her to bed.

Yeah! I want to hear Tom comment. I bet he has funny things to say. Remember his blog in college, where you could ask him any question? He was good at answering questions!

Ok everyone, here's my big comment debut. Yes, I remember the web site I had (it was before the explosion of the word 'blog'). No, it will not likely ever make a return. When I did that the first time I clearly had way too much time on my hands. Not really the case for me anymore. Any free time that I may have these days is sucked up by the affair that I'm having with asphalt.
i KNEW tom would come up with some witty comment like "affair with asphalt." tay, are you opposed to a chain lock on the OUTSIDE of lily's door??? 1 am, are you kidding me? with our time difference, i was just going to bed!! insane. tell that girl to get off the caffeine! LOL. hope it slows down in the next few days for you!!

Ok, so taylor says that I need to explain more about myself, rather than just making up a witty saying like "affair with asphalt." So to all of you looking for a tid bit of info you didnt know about me, here it is. I am facinated by ice dancing. I taped all of the olympics and stay up all night alone watching the ice dancing. Its amazing.....
